Cherami Leigh Talks About Co-Star Tyler Corie
Posted: July 8, 2010
In this week’s VIDEO blog, actress Cherami Leigh talks about working with co-star Tyler Corie in Beyond the Farthest Star. Ms Leigh, who plays the sixteen-year old, “fiercely-candid”, Goth daughter of Pastor Adam Wells, is befriended by her small town, bull-riding love interest, Stephen Miller, played by Mr. Corie. The dynamics created by this unlikely couple are at times, humorous, volatile and, in the end, a unique and tender portrait of adolescent romance.
In addition to her starring role in BTFS, Cherami has had supporting roles in “The Deep End,” “The Hottest State,” “Friday Night Lights,” “Fast Food Nation” and “Holiday in the Heart” as the young LeAnn Rimes. Cherami also has had recurring roles as an international Anime voice talent in “Banbu Bredo,” “Fullmetal Alchemist – Brotherhood,” “Ookiku Furikabutte,” “Witchblade,” “Suzuka,” “Shuffe!” and “Shonen Jump One Piece.”
You can see Mr. Corie in Will Canon’s upcoming “Brotherhood” and Tom Huckaby’s award-winning feature, “Carried Away”.

Very cool interview, is nice to see young talent with so much emotional maturity.God bless you.
Cherami is gorgeous and very smart. I can see a tremendous future for her.
Her comments seem very honest and the little clip of the two of them shows the chemistry between these two actors. Looks like a very high quality made and interesting film. Christian movies are on track to show the secular movie companies that they can be just as good (with God leading them). Can’t wait to see movie.
This is such a very interesting interview. Good to see young actors so professional and mature. I can’t wait for this movie.
Wonderful interview! Not only does it give a better idea of what is going on with these characters, but also piques the curiosity to know even more. Very well done!
