In The Making: Entry 1

Hello All!
We got some awesome news today: Barry Corbin and Renee O’Connor have just joined the cast for our movie! I’m so excited! You may recognize Mr. Corbin from “No Country For Old Men,” “Northern Exposure,” “One Tree Hill” and Ms. O’Connor in “Boogeyman 2,” and “Xena: Warrior Princess.” I cannot wait for production to start March 8 (just fyi: this year my 23rd birthday will be spent on the set of a feature film… yea that’s pretty tight.)
Anyway, to tell you a little bit about what I do for the movie. Um, a little bit of everything J I get to work directly with Writer/Director of the film Andrew Librizzi (who on a side note, is not only a creative genius when it comes to the film world, is also a wiz in the kitchen and cooked our entire production team an Italian lunch that was amazing!) and the Producers Benjamin Dane and Sally Helppie, and Associate Producer Carolyn Hodge. We spent the last month casting the film, and I got to help run the Dallas auditions and got to meet some amazing actors! (Super cool part of my job!)
The next couple of weeks we will be in full swing pre-production mode as we gear up to begin filming in the Dallas area on March 8th. Be on the lookout for more updates and some behind the scenes extras! Make sure to become a fan of the movie on facebook and follow us on twitter
